It was a wonderful joyous end to the 2023 school year for LCYO, Lane Cove Public School (LCPS) Concert Band and Senior String Ensemble. The program reflected the holiday season with Winter Wonderland and Sleigh Ride. Classical works like Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony and the tender heartfelt Princess Mononoke from Studio Ghibli Suite, provided a contemplative aspect. LCPS introduced an exciting dance theme with Dragon Dances, Skeleton Dance and Disco Lives! The combined music groups played the Russian Sailors' Dance, as the grand finale. Afterwards, the audience was invited to sing along to some Christmas Carols.
