In 2021, Lane Cove Youth Orchestra commissioned Tim Hansen to write a special work to celebrate Lane Cove’s new community space, The Canopy, and its visionary proponent, Lane Cove’s former Mayor, the late Cr Deborah Hutchens. LCYO was honoured to present the premiere of this work in December 2021 on the stage of The Canopy, under the stars, in our Twilight Concert. This recording, by sound engineer Ruari Campbell, was made at the second performance of The City and The Stars in 2022 at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
